We all know how jewelry can highlight the natural beauty of a person. But it can also say a lot about the personality of the wearer. Like are you bold enough to opt for big hoops and chunky rings or minimalist with your dainty necklaces and rings? With jewelry, these personal choices add to the uniqueness of the individual. But no matter what selecting the right jewelry can elevate the whole look. And with each year, newer trends emerge to help us stay in fashion. Some are fads, but some are here to stay.
The jewelry trends this year didn't fail to impress us either. There is a lot of flashback to the 90s and 70s era. I have prepared a list of some of the highlight trends that emerged on the runways. Let me know which trends resonate more with your personality.
Drop Earrings
One of my favorite jewelry trends for this year is drop earrings. Whether you wear them with a dress or a plain turtleneck, they will always make a statement. Plus, you can wear this style to work, as well as to a party in the evening.
Statement Choker Necklaces
Choker necklaces are back with a bang as displayed on the recent runways from London, Paris to Milan by various designers such as Balmain, Dior, Miu Miu, and others. There are oversized and chunky metal designs, as well as bold colors.
All Things Beaded
This trend brings nostalgia from our childhood as at some point we all have made beaded jewelry with our friends. But now, with the Y2K revival, they are back in fashion. Celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Dua Lipa, Chiara Feragini have all been wearing this trend.
Pearls
Pearls have been in fashion forever. But this year, different shapes and designs of pearls have been in the limelight.
Bold Colors
Pop of shades like neon yellow or electric pink can make any look fearless. Even if it is an all-black outfit adding a neon earring can transform your look instantly.
